Brian Slowik is currently the Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Operations, rapid! PayCard, a UniRush, LLC product. Brian brings to his role more than 30 years of management, leadership and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to joining UniRush, Brian most recently held Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Operations, rapid! PayCard at WEX Inc. As part of WEX’s prepaid card business rapid! PayCard expanded the number of active paycards 608%. Rapid! PayCard gained market share into a variety of domestic verticals including, staffing, manufacturing, and healthcare, hospitality, quick serve restaurant and payroll to name but a few. Prior to joining WEX he was the President and a founder of rapid! Financial Services (rapid! PayCard) from 2004 until it was acquired by Wright Express (WEX) in April of 2011.

From 1997 until 2008 Mr. Slowik served as Vice President of Sembler Investments and held leadership positions in numerous portfolio companies. From 1988 until 1997 he finished his career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as the Area Account Director, New Jersey Area after earning three previous promotions during his tenure. Brian holds a BS Public Relations, College of Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida.

 


 

Robert Swingler, CPP
Director of Payroll Systems, Superior Energy Services

Robert Swingler is the Director of Payroll Systems for Superior Energy Services in Houston, Texas. Robert has over 19 years of payroll experience and was an integral part of several payroll system implementations and acquisitions. As Payroll Director he manages a team of 9, paying 13 FEIN’s with over 5,000 employees. Robert has his BA in Accounting and is CPP Certified.

On a local level, Robert is the Treasurer for the Houston Chapter of the APA and has served in many positions including Chapter President of the Houston Chapter in 2010.

On a state wide level, Robert also on the Board off the Texas Payroll Conference.

For over 15 years, Frank Tresnak has worked closely with payroll tax related software – becoming deeply involved in the design compliance issues related to electronic withholding forms and location-based tax systems. Tresnak is a member of the American Payroll Association’s Emerging Technology Sub-Committee of the SPLTF, the Government Affairs Task Force for Pennsylvania Taxes and the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations. Tresnak has spoken to APA and payroll related groups for over 10 years.
