Important Reminders

TPC does not distribute handouts at the conference, so be sure to download or print and bring presentations for the workshops you will be attending. Printers will not be available on-site. We will have a limited number of power outlets available for your electronic devices (i.e. laptop, iPad, etc.). Most of the speaker presentations are available for download, so you can download them before the conference. You will be notified via email when presentations are ready.  You may also access the presentations through our conference app (it is magical!) which will be available a few weeks prior to the conference. Be sure to check back before leaving for the conference if your presentation is not yet available.

Below are a few additional reminders:

1. Be sure to check back for information about the conference app.  We will send an email announcement when it is ready.

2. Bring plenty of business cards for new friends, networking opportunities and exhibitors. 

3. Please be sure to dress in layers. Each room may vary in temperature.

4. Free self-parking is available at the conference hotel.

5. If flying, be sure to schedule your transportation to the hotel either by shuttle, rental car or taxi. Make sure your flight is scheduled to land at either Dallas Love (DAL) (8.4 miles) or Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) (11.3 miles) airports.

6. Dinner will be on your own Wednesday and Thursday nights; however, back by popular demand, we will again have A Place at the Table. We have reserved tables at a few area restaurants and will have reservation signups at conference. You will be responsible for the cost of your meal, and you must make your own arrangements for transportation.

7. Don’t forget to join us in the "Hall of Payroll Magic" on Thursday evening for the Exhibitors' Reception from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

8. The "Chapter Mix and Mingle" will be Thursday evening from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm.  Come join us for some fun!  There will be line dancing lessons, a chance to speak with our Keynote, Kelly Swanson and a chance to get to know the local APA Chapters.

9.  Don't miss the Friday Night Event - "A Night of Payroll Magic".  Attire for the party is dressy casual, or wear your favorite magical outfit!  Whatever you choose to wear, please make sure you don't miss out on this special event.  Admittance to the event is by sponsor memorabilia only! 

10. If you are a first time attendee and/or conference volunteer, please make sure to attend the orientation sessions which will be held Wednesday morning September 20 prior to the welcome and opening general session.  You will receive a special gift and additional information about the conference.  If a volunteer, you will receive information about your duties.  We welcome our first time attendees and appreciate our volunteers!
